A FOOTBALL tournament netted more than £700 for the Airedale Hospital children's ward.
Friendly matches and other activities were organised by the SKT Welfare charity.
A £761 cheque has been handed over to the hospital by Shazad Ismail, whose three-year-old son Muhammed Yahya has spina bifida and is a regular visitor to the children's ward.
"The unit is very close to my heart and it's great to be able to give something back," said Mr Ismail.
"And this is not the end – there will be many more donations to come!"
Earlier this year, the charity gave a mobility scooter and toys and gifts to the Steeton hospital.
SKT Welfare spearheads a number of projects in Keighley.
"We are running a weekly soup kitchen to provide hot meals to the community and we organise many sporting activities and volunteering challenges to get people from different backgrounds working together," Mr Ismail said.
"The work we do couldn't be done without the help of our sponsors – Hanover Carpets, Shan's supermarket and Mr Compensator – and we're very grateful."
