POLICE and paramedics were called to Keighley town centre following a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were alerted to the incident at the traffic lights at the junction of North Street and Cavendish Street at 3.16pm yesterday.

He said: "The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, had collided with a bus and suffered a facial injury which is not understood to be serious.

"He is attending hospital as a precaution."
