KEIGHLEY brewery Timothy Taylor's has won the Best Bitter award in this year's Champion Beer of Britain awards.
Organised by the Campaign for Real Ale, the awards recognise the best ales in the country, and Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker brew was chosen as this year's champion bitter.
The beer triumphed over the Tiny Rebel Brewery in Newport, Hawkshead Brewery in Kendal, and the Salopian Brewery near Shrewsbury.
Timothy Taylor's was presented with the award at the Olympia Hilton Hotel in London, near to where the Great British Beer Festival is being held at the Olympia.
Boltmaker was previously crowned the Champion Beer of Britain in 2014, win it also won gold in the Bitter category.
Saltaire Brewery was awarded the bronze for its special brew, Triple Chocoholic, at the ceremony.
It was beaten by Binghams Brewery in Berkshire, whose Vanilla Stout picked up the overall Champion Beer of Britain award, and Stoke-on-Trent based, Titanic Brewery.
