POLICE are hunting three men after a car was attacked with weapons in a busy Keighley main road.
The assailants were seen speeding away from the scene of the incident, in Hard Ings Road, in what is believed to be a black BMW X5.
Police were called out at about 1.30pm today to reports of a Lexus car under attack.
As the driver tried to escape, his vehicle was in collision with a DAF articulated lorry.
No-one was injured during the incident.
A section of road between the Hard Ings and Skipton Road roundabouts was shut while the lorry, which sustained minor damage, was moved.
"Three men were seen getting into a black BMW and leaving the scene and we are keen to trace them," said a police spokesman.
"We are at an early stage of the investigation and inquiries are ongoing."
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact the police on 101, quoting reference number 0789 and today's date.
