MEDAL experts visiting Keighley next month to give valuations have offered to give part of their profits to charity.
The Medal Centre will bring its roadshow to the town’s Masonic Hall at 12 Cooke Street on Saturday, July 2.
The company says it will give a donation to local ex-service charities for each item it buys from people on the day.
It invites people to take along coins, medals, other military items, banknotes, scrap gold, broken jewellery, watch chains, sovereigns and Krugerrands.
Last time the company had a coin and medal valuation day in Keighley, it gave a four-figure sum to a woman for a tin box containing items including her late uncle’s Boer War and First World War medals.
The July 2 session will be at the Masonic Hall, opposite the town hall square, from 9.30am to 4pm.
