A WORTH Valley district councillor says she is concerned that some people do not seem to understand what new no parking signs in Haworth's Main Street actually mean.
Councillor Rebecca Poulsen (pictured) said some of the queries she has received suggest some people "may have forgotten their basic Highway Code".
"The signs featuring a blue circle surrounded by a red circle and a diagonal red line through the centre clearly mean no parking at any time," she added.
"They just replace the double yellow lines which used to be on that street."
Cllr Poulsen (Con) said because the historic road was currently being heavily used by BBC drama makers, it was difficult to assess the extent to which the no parking zone was being complied with.
"Main Street is going to need some strong enforcement," she said.
"People need to understand they can't just park anywhere they like, because it does cause problems."
