A MOTORIST was taken to hospital following a rush-hour crash this morning which closed part of the Aire Valley trunk road near Keighley.
The driver of the Citroen Berlingo was not seriously injured but went to Airedale Hospital "as a precaution", said police.
The vehicle was involved in a collision with a Volvo lorry and ended up on its side.
Long queues of traffic built-up following the accident, which happened shortly after 8am on the westbound carriageway of the A629 near the Steeton/Silsden roundabout.
The road has now reopened.
