A WOMAN was taken to hospital after falling on a steep bank near Riddlesden Golf Club and injuring her knee.
A spokesman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said the victim, described as being in her 50s, may also have been suffering from slight hypothermia.
She was taken to Airedale General Hospital for treatment following the incident, which took place around 8pm on Saturday night.
An ambulance attended the scene, but as the woman was trapped in a difficult to reach location, Calder Valley Rescue Team were also called to provide extra assistance.
Staff at the golf club said they were not aware of the incident, but said it may have happened on one of the many footpaths that take in parts of the course.
