A WELL-established photographic archive at a Keighley school has now been complemented with its audio equivalent.

The audio archive has been established for Holy Family Catholic School, following celebrations of the school's golden jubilee year.

This archive is available on YouTube, and allows people with memories of their time at Holy Family to voice their recollections in their own words.

It has been instigated by the school's deputy head teacher, Damian Moore. He said: “We had lots of conversations last year about memories of the school and the characters involved.

"Many folk assume that with social media and electronic storage as it is, we don’t need to make a record but that is not the case.

"If everyone thinks someone else is doing it then it won’t get done and material will be lost.”

People wishing to offer a verbal memory can contact Mr Moore by e-mailing damian.moore@holyfamily.ngfl.ac.uk

The recording can be done as a "talking-head" piece straight to camera, or in an interview format.
