A KEIGHLEY nursery was judged "good" in every category following an Ofsted inspection.

Highfield Nursery, on Drewry Road, was praised in the recently published inspection, with inspectors saying "Teaching is consistently good."

The nursery, which has 90 under five children on its roll, is run by Keighley Kiddicare Limited, and was visited by inspectors last month.

The way the nursery helps children who don't speak English as a primary language is also praised: "The care of children who speak English as an additional language is a key strength. Staff gather key words in home languages to support children. They translate documents for parents to understand their children's stages of development.

"Strong bonds between children and their individual key person ensure that children thrive."

The nursery had been judged good on its last inspection too, in 2012.
