A COFFEE morning at Steeton on Saturday (Mar 21) raised £750 for Martin House children’s hospice.

It was the latest in a series staged hosted by villager Lynda Corser, her family and friends.

“It was a fantastic day and the support was wonderful. We even had donations from people who were unable to attend,” said Mrs Corser.

“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone.

“We are hoping Barclays will match fund some of the total, which would be great.”

First prize in the raffle, won by Phyllis O’Brien, was a bracelet donated by Raffles jewellers. Easter eggs were also donated by Asda in Keighley and Tesco and Morrisons in Skipton.
