A HEARTBROKEN fiancee has started a new bid to find answers about her husband-to-be's death.

Rebecca Gregory has created a Facebook page and produced posters which she is distributing around the area close to where he died.

Motorcyclist Brett Hames was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary following an accident near Laycock and died shortly afterwards.

The apprentice property engineer was on his way home from work in Keighley on December 5 when the tragedy happened.

Police investigations and an emotional public appeal for witnesses last month by Rebecca have failed to shed light on precisely what occurred.

"We know there were vehicles in the area at the time whose drivers haven't come forward and that Brett had to swerve to avoid somebody," said Rebecca, who was due to marry her 24-year-old soulmate next year.

"This not knowing the circumstances is just making all the anguish so much worse.

"After launching the Justice for Brett Hames Facebook page a potential witness has come forward who saw a number of vehicles in the area around that time, but lost sight of Brett before the accident.

"I've put posters appealing for information in shops and on lampposts along the route.

"I just ask anyone who can help to please come forward and contact the police."

The crash happened in Pole Road, between Laycock and Cowling, at 2pm on December 5.
