A MOTHER-OF-TWO has been jailed for 12 months after she pulled out a woman’s hair in a drunken, racial attack.

Stacey Haughey, 29, of Beech Tree Close, Keighley, attacked Samantha Ali on her doorstep, Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday.

She went round to confront Miss Ali over allegations that her son had been bullied.

Haughey pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault and racially aggravated disorderly conduct on November 11.

Prosecutor Michael Smith said the attack had had “a massive impact” on Miss Ali. Haughey’s solicitor advocate, Arshad Mahmood, said: “She is absolutely devastated at the harm she has caused.”

Judge Jonathan Rose said she had previous convictions for assault and drunk and disorderly behaviour.
