Woman collapsed after bin fire at Keighley home
A WOMAN collapsed while firefighters dealt with a bin fire at her home in Keighley.
Crews gave the woman oxygen when she suffered an asthmatic fit. She was then taken to Airedale Hospital by ambulance for a check-up.
Firefighters were called to her property on Dalton Terrace at about 9.30pm yesterday after a fire broke out in a small bin on the landing.
A fire service spokesman said the cause of the fire was unknown and that a carpet was damaged by the flames.
