AN AUTHOR and historian is giving a talk at Keighley Local Studies Library.

Dr Juliet Barker, a former curator and librarian at the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth, will speak about Yorkshire’s role in the so-called Peasants Revolt of 1381.

Tickets for the event – on February 7, at 2pm – are free, but must be booked in advance.
