FARNHILL Parish Council has embarked on a project to spruce-up a village beauty spot.
The wooded area known as the Arbour (pictured), off Main Street, in the village near Keighley, is being cleared and planted.
Plans also include keeping the grass at a sensible level and expanding an area of existing heather. The council’s intention is to have an area that encourages wildlife, looks attractive and is easy to maintain.
Councillors will next decide what work is needed on steps that form part of the path through the Arbour, and the path handrail.
