KEIGHLEY people have been urged to have their say on what public services they would like to see protected as Bradford Council looks to make £40 million of savings.
Khadim Hussain (pictured, Lab, Keighley Central), who is also chairman of Keighley Area Committee, said it was important that the final decision is based on as much public feedback as possible.
“I’m appealing for people to make their opinions known,” he said. The budget plans will soon go out for public consultation, and the authority has pledged to respond to people’s views before finalising cuts next year.
