TWO WELL-known Keighley figures have contributed to the latest issue of historical magazine the Bradford Antiquary.
Ian Dewhirst (pictured) has written an essay called A Storehouse of Intellectual Pleasure and Profit, detailing the early years of Keighley Public Library. Mr Dewhirst was for many years chief reference librarian in Keighley.
Barbara Klempka, the founding secretary of Keighley and District Local History Society, has contributed an article about Keighley historian Clifford Whone. The magazine is the journal of the Bradford Historical and Antiquarian Society.
