A FIRM of chartered accountants is helping children to stay safe by sponsoring safety packs distributed to Cottingley Village Primary School.

The safety packs, given by Watson Buckle, are part of an initiative by Kidsafe, an organisation which is committed to making children aware of the dangers around them without destroying their sense of adventure.

Safety activities included in the packs are on topics such as stranger danger, vandalism and crime prevention, racism and bullying, drugs, road safety and the green cross code.

Susan Sedgwick, managing partner at Cottingley-based Watson Buckle, said: “We are extremely delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor the Kidsafe safety packs for Cottingley Village Primary School.“The safety activities included in the packs are a great way to help children learn to be safer in a fun and informative way.

“At Watson Buckle we are always keen to support schools and organisations as part of our commitment to the local community.”
