A WOMAN has been charged with wasting police time in connection with an allegation of a serious sexual assault in Victoria Park, Keighley.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the woman, 20, is due to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 11.
Police sealed off part of the park following a report that a woman had been sexually attacked on October 16 at about 10pm.
Chief Inspector Suzanne Akeroyd, of Bradford District Police, said they had been liaising with the person who made the allegation to find out what had happened.
