Parish council chairman David Mullen in the car park at Steeton Hub
A PARISH council boss has welcomed a £9,500 lottery grant to carry out improvements around a community facility.
The Awards for All Big Lottery cash will pay for landscaping and work on the car park at Steeton Hub.
Cllr David Mullen (pictured), chairman of Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council, said: “I’m absolutely delighted.
“The car park needs to be levelled and surfaced and planting will be carried out around the building.
“Currently, the car park is inadequate.”
