RADIOGRAPHERS at Airedale Hospital are set to join colleagues in a national strike.
The Society of Radiographers (SoR), which has representation at Airedale, has called a four-hour walkout for Monday (Oct 20).
And members will work-to-rule for the remainder of the week.
SoR bosses say emergency care will continue to be provided but pre-booked appointments and procedures could be affected.
The dispute is over a continuing pay freeze.
"Radiographers working in the NHS in the four countries of the UK will participate in the action," said Richard Evans, for the SoR.
"There is the possibility of more action by radiographers in the future. The anger that they and other health professionals feel is very strong.
"The government rejected a recommended one per cent pay rise for the current year and the Health Secretary has said that there will be no increase in 2015."
