A man in a borrowed hire car was not insured to drive, heard Skipton magistrates yesterday.
Police stopped Mohammed Mahmood Ali, 27, as he drove along Skipton Road, Eastburn, at 8.20pm on March 19 and he admitted he was not insured to drive the car.
Ali, of Greystones Drive, Keighley, who admitted using a car without third party insurance, had his licence endorsed with six penalty points and was fined £110. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and victims’ surcharge of £20.
