Ilkley Playhouse to present signed performance

Ilkley Playhouse is to present a signed performance of Absent Friends by Alan Ayckbourn on Thursday, March 1.

The ten-night run of the show begins at the Playhouse, on Weston Road, on Wednesday, February 29 and the following night British Sign Language interpreter Keren Seabrook will be signing.

Keren last did a signed performance of a play at Ilkley Playhouse in 2009 when she interpreted the thriller Going Straight by Richard Harris, but she has often signed at the Playhouse in her capacity as a signer for the annual Ilkley Literature festival.
