ILKLEY Lido proved a popular escape from the sunshine and heavy showers as the venue re-opened for the summer.
The Bradford Council-run venue in Denton Road had opened for its summer season last Wednesday due to the heatwave, but held its official re-opening on Saturday.
This included a number of activities including stalls and face-painting, as well as swimming in the 45-metre pool.
The venue has previously been voted one of the top ten open air pools in the country and was built in 1935. It will also hold a solstice swim event on Wednesday, June 21.
It will hold twilight swims throughout the summer, between 6pm and 7.30pm on weekdays. Season tickets for the lido are on sale priced £125 for adults, £62.50 for children and senior citizens, and £50 for Bradford leisure card holders. The site has a number of other attractions including a 20m indoor pool.
