Teenager scooter rider recovers in hospital after crash
A TEENAGER is in hospital with a serious head injury following an accident in Ilkley.
The 13-year-old boy was on his scooter when the incident, involving a red Volkswagen Golf GTD, happened just before 5pm on Saturday on Valley Drive near its junction with Wyvil Crescent in Ilkley.
The boy was airlifted to hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening, said a West Yorkshire Police spokesman.
