A MAN was airlifted to hospital after he fell and suffered head injuries while scrambling on rocks at an Ilkley beauty spot.
Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called at 12.25pm yesterday to the Cow and Calf Rocks, Ilkley, where the 52-year-old man fell.
UWFRA said man the was treated by paramedics before being taken on a stretcher to the helicopter.
