A CHARITY show at Otley Social Club has raised £2,400 for Cash for Kids.
The event, on December 12, was organised by fundraiser Nicky Betteridge and hosted by Dene Michael from Black Lace.
Bradford's Danny Tetley, from Pop Idol, opened the show with a live performance that was followed by bingo and comedian Albi Senior, who had flown over from Benidorm.
Mr Betteridge said: "It was a great night and I received lots of positive feedback from the guests. We had people come from Bradford, Essex, Manchester, Wigan, Birmingham, Teesside, Newcastle and obviously a large amount from Otley and Leeds.
"I can't thank everyone enough who contributed to the night, buying tickets, donating prizes, buying raffle tickets, playing bingo and even with the promotion of the event. All the acts were fantastic and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the night. I would also like to thank Otley Social Club for providing the lovely venue. The staff were really helpful on the night and even called the bingo numbers!
"I am proud that I have raised the money, along with the help of everyone else, and hope it makes a difference to some children on Christmas Day."
