Fire crews put out the burning lorry
THE main road through Pool-in-Wharfedale was partially closed tonight as a heavy goods vehicle carrying paper reels burst into flames.
Police said the incident was reported at around 5.45pm.
Fire crews had the fire out shortly after 6pm.
There were no reports of any injuries. The fire caused congestion in both directions. One lane was reopened by about 6.45pm.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
