Plea to trace man after mail is thrown at van driver
POLICE have released this picture of an elderly man they want to question after mail was thrown into the face of a van driver in Ilkley on Halloween.
A van driver was attempting to park in Brook Street when a man walked between his vehicle and a parked car between 11.55am and 12.53pm.
The driver remonstrated with the passerby, who he felt had put himself in danger of being run over.
In retaliation, he opened the passenger side door, picked up mail on the passenger seat and threw it in the driver’s face before walking away.
