It’s strictly ballroom – and latin and salsa – at a dance school which has opened its doors at a new venue.

The Expressions Dance Studio has moved to the annexe building at Heckmondwike Grammar School, while previous venue Cleckheaton Town Hall is being renovated, and has launched new classes.

“We’ve got beginners classes for adults and children in ballroom, latin and salsa,” said principal Melanie King.

“We’re also launching new classes in wedding choreography for couples who are keen to learn dance skills for their wedding dance.

“With the start of the new Strictly Come Dancing series people are keen to take up different styles of dance.”
