A 34-year-old Heckmondwike man has been killed in a road crash.
The man was a passenger in a Nissan Micra when the car hit a tree.
A 24-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being over the prescribed limit and dangerous driving.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash , which happened at 9:37pm on the A642 Wakefield Road, in Overton, on Saturday.
The Micra was travelling from Grange Moor towards Middlestown.
