A last-ditch attempt is being made to save a post office facility.
The current service at Cowling near Skipton is due to close on Thursday following the resignation of the sub-postmaster and a search has been launched to find new premises.
Now the parish council and the village hall management committee have joined forces to organise a public meeting for all those willing to help in the village hall from tomorrow from 10am.
