A family are off on an adventure that will take them to all corners of the earth – and the children out of school.
Simon Robinson and his wife Louise Farnell along with their two children are embarking on a 15-month tour around the world.
Starting in January, the South Craven family’s first stop is Thailand and they then plan to visit other parts of Asia including Cambodia, the island of Borneo and Malaysia.
They will then head to New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada, Tobago, Costa Rica, Brazil, Chile, the Patagonia region of Argentina and, finally, the African countries of Angola, Namibia and South Africa. Simon, 43, and Louise, 40, have two children – Alfie, seven, and Siân, five – both at Bradleys Both Community Primary School near Skipton.
“We’ve been talking about doing this trip for the last five years,” said Louise. “It’s suddenly becoming real, but it still hasn’t sunk in yet.”
