More than 1,000 children in Baildon are getting creative to help mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Community arts organisation Sponge Tree is running felting workshops at the village’s four primaries to create four two-metre panels for use during next month’s Lord Mayor’s Parade in Bradford.
Every child at Glenaire, Sandal, Hoyle Court and Baildon Church of England primary schools, will make pieces of red, white and blue felt for use in the panels, which will depict one of four animals of special importance to the Queen.
