Pubgoers are being urged to give toys, games and stationery to help disadvantaged children in Romania and the UK.
Home and Away is the thrust of a campaign by The George & Dragon pub, in Apperley Road, Apperley Bridge, Bradford, to support children’s charities Kids Out and Save the Children.
New items suitable for children aged five and over, such as arts and crafts materials, stickers, school bags, costume jewellery and educational games, are being collected.
Half the items will stay in the UK and the rest will be taken to four Save the Children schools and orphanages in Romania.
