The Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Jeremy Hunt, was in the Bradford area yesterday to mark National Pub Week.
Mr Hunt visited the Queens Hotel in Apperley Bridge and the Yeoman in Gay Lane, Otley.
He spoke to licensees about the challenges they face in the current economic climate and to residents about how important local pubs were to them.
