A 91-year-old woman died from head injuries after falling on stairs at her home, an inquest has heard.
Jennie Feasby, of Laurel Grove, Silsden, was found by her son after worried neighbours contacted him after she did not answer the door, the Bradford inquest was told yesterday.
The pensioner was taken to Airedale General Hospital for treatment for injuries which included a broken wrist and wounds to her head and face but she deteriorated and died from bleeding in the brain on February 23 last year.
Acting Bradford Coroner Professor Paul Marks recorded a verdict of accidental death.
