A man found dead at home at the bottom of the stairs, died from heart disease an inquest has heard.
Ian Ambler Cutter, 69, of Slaymaker Lane, Oakworth, who was known to be a heavy drinker and smoker, had been drinking the night before, according to his wife.
The Bradford inquest was told yesterday that at the time of Mr Cutter’s death on February 4 this year he had the alcohol equivalent of four pints of beer in his system.
He also had a medical history of asthma and angina. A post-mortem examination revealed he had severe coronary disease.
