An Oakworth community group has donated a Christmas tree to the village.
The tree will be located outside the Co-op supermarket in Station Road and will be decorated for Christmas.
Oakworth Forward donated the eight-foot blue spruce which was supplied by Forest of Bradford, which regularly plants trees across the district.
Oakworth Forward spokesman Shaun O’Hare said the tree would be planted in the raised bed in front of the store.
He said: “The blue spruce is a much sought-after Christmas tree as it does not lose its blue-grey needles and has an attractive narrow triangular shape.
“Various groups in the village will play a part in decorating the tree including the pupils from Oakworth Primary School.”
