GARDENERS’ SHOW: The Haworth , Oxenhope Lees & Cross Roads Gardeners & Allotment Holders’ Association annual flower, vegetable and produce show will take place on Sunday, August 19, at the Community Centre, Butt Lane, Haworth. The vegetable classes will be judged by Medwyn Williams, president of the National Vegetable Society and 11-times gold medal winner at the Chelsea Royal Horticultural Society show. Anyone interested in entering produce for the show, which is classed as one of the best in the North of England, can obtain a schedule from Geoff Wilkins on (01535) 642633.
