Yeadon mum Vicki Gilbert is celebrating her success at this year’s Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards.
Vicki, who runs Babies Can Sign – classes to teach babies how to communicate through signing before they can talk, was highly commended in the business category of the Sue Ryder awards.
The 38-year-old mother-of-three said she was delighted with the certificate she received at a ceremony in at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. “I feel very proud and it does mean a lot to me because it is a big thing as well. It’s the 25th anniversary this year of the Yorkshire Women of Achievement award and to get an award is quite something,” she said.
