A nurse in Pool-in-Wharfedale joined an 11-year-old adventurer to walk Hadrian’s Wall for charity.
Nicola Clough completed the 84-mile trail alongside her friend’s son Jack Harley-Walsh, one of the youngest people ever to have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. The challenge was to celebrate his 11th birthday and raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Association.
Jack’s mum Sue Walsh said people had been staggered that a boy so young could complete the walk and that it had taken them just five days. Donations can be made by visiting the website justgiving.com.
