Horsforth WI celebrates 25th anniversary

A women’s institute has celebrated its 25th anniversary with a party to which its founder and past members were invited.

Among those attending the event in Horsforth were Doreen Hardaker, who was a founder member and still attends meetings, founder member Kath Hardcastle, West Yorkshire Federation chairman Helena Harring-ton and Federation Friend Sue Stothers. Current members are also planning to hold a celebratory lunch.

Horsforth WI meets at 7.30pm on the third Monday of each month, at St James’s Parish Centre, in Low Lane.
