Two women and a child taken to hospital
11:37am Tuesday 22nd March 2011 in Horsforth
Two adults and a child have been taken to hospital after a crash between Rodley and Horsforth roundabouts this morning.
A woman and a child were already out of the Honda car they were travelling in when emergency services arrived.
But firefighters from Rawdon had to take the roof off the second car involved, a Ford Fiesta, to free its young woman driver.
Police had to close off the road until the scene was cleared and the casualties were taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
The injured driver was conscious and talking throughout the rescue.
The other two were taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
