Otley crash victim named as Burley-in-Wharfedale man

A man who died after his 4x4 collided with two other vehicles has been named as Michael Crookes.
The 47-year-old, from Burley-in-Wharfedale, is believed to have fallen ill behind the wheel as he was travelling along the A660 Otley bypass at about 4.35pm on Friday. His 4x4 Toyota Hilux, which was travelling towards Ilkley, was in collision with two vehicles, one heading the same way and another travelling towards Otley.
The accident caused road closures in the area until well into the evening.
