Pupils at Addingham Primary School did not bottle out when it came to helping a water appeal.
The children collected £250 in coins as part of Oxfam’s Bottle for Change campaign, which aims to reduce the spread of water-borne infection.
The students were challenged to fill bottles with change and some classes filled up to four. They then used maths skills to sort, count and bag the money for their class. The charity uses the money to provide water filtration buckets and fund sanitation work.
