A traditional fell race returned to the Addingham Gala after more than 20 years.
Runners dashed to the summit of Beamsley Beacon, climbing 1,000 feet and covering nearly six miles during the race, organised by Ilkley Harriers.
The theme for this year’s gala was At The Movies, with a parade led by Accrington Pipe Band and carnival queen Sophie Wright heading down Main Street.
Angela Hutton, of the gala committee, said: “We had the weather and good crowds in Main Street and crowds of children cheering the runners as they returned.”
