Summer bus services linking the district with North Yorkshire beauty spots have been secured for another year, despite a loss of Council funding.
The Dales and Bowland Community Interest Company has gained funding from the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authority, Metro, to run Sunday and Bank Holiday services.
North Yorkshire County Council recently agreed a £600,000 cut to bus subsidies.
Metro funding is said to be around £21,000.
Summer DalesBuses due to start in April include services from Otley to Richmond, link buses from Otley to Ilkley, services from Ilkley to Buckden, Grassing-ton and Malham. Sunday Craven-link services, linking Wharfedale with Bolton Abbey, Draughton and Skipton, will also continue.
A service is also being introduced from Burnley to Grassington, and connecting Skipton and Embsay.
