A prize fund of £16,000 and 83 trophies will be up for grabs at the 113th Kilnsey show and sports to be held on Tuesday, August 31.
Organised by the Upper Wharfedale Agricultural Society, the event is staged in the shadow of Kilnsey Crag, near Skipton, and is one of the largest agricultural shows in the Yorkshire Dales.
Agricultural interest is centred around the cattle and sheep classes, which cater for many different breeds and themselves offer prize money of £6,500.
This year sees a new-look cattle showcase which is more visitor friendly. Livestock classes are supported by equine events.
There will also be displays and demonstrations highlighting all aspects of agricultural and rural life and crafts, including dry-stone walling, sheep dog trials, angling, vintage tractors, produce, handicrafts and horticulture.
The event also features a fell race and the Real Food and Farming village. Gates are open from 9am until 7pm.
